The design combines this appreciation of modern technology with traditional ceramic craft, resulting in a piece that is both contemporary and sculptural. The graphic and playful appearance of the Kink Vase—combined with its double opening, which suggests a new way to arrange flowers—infuses its surroundings with joy."

Introduced alongside the Post Lamp Series as the first-ever designs by Rotterdambased Earnest Studio for Muuto, the Kink Vase brings a contemporary form to the archetypal flower vase through a combination of traditional craftsmanship and playful design language.

Shaping a new form language for the typology of a vase, the lines of the Kink Vase are created through digital manipulation of simple shapes. The design combines an appreciation of modern technology with traditional ceramic craftsmanship, making the design an art piece, even when not in use. Adding to that, its characterful kink gives the design a sculptural expression with one being able to use one or both tubes for floral arrangements.
